About Us

The Florida Keys Dragon Boat Club was organized in 2006 after the first annual Battle in the Bay Dragon Boat Festival in Key West, Florida.

Our primary goal is to promote the sport of dragon boat competition and continue supporting the annual " Battle in the Bay Dragon Boat Festival".

Another objective is to encourage the creation of competitive middle school and high school teams in the Florida Keys. Organizing fun, healthy activities for the youth in our community is a positive experience for all.

We hope to promote the exciting sport of dragon boat racing while offering exercise, challenge, and competition.

Founded by John & Beti Duke, the Florida Keys Dragon Boat Club is open to all members of the community.
